ZXMOTO 500F Officially Launches in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR – High-performance motorcycle enthusiasts in Malaysia have a bold new option in the retro modern classic segment. Officially introduced during the “Rise of the Champions” grand launch event alongside the Mforce Mid-Autumn Gala 2026, the all-new ZXMOTO 500F has officially hit the Malaysian market. Distributed locally by Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd., this inline four-cylinder machine aims to redefine the middleweight retro modern classic category by offering premium technical engineering at a competitive price point.
The launch event was celebrated in high style, attended by Chongqing ZXMOTO Sales Co., Ltd. Founder Mr. Zhang Xue, Foreign Trade Director Mr. Paul Huang, and Mforce Managing Director Dato’ Sri Leo Tan, highlighting the strategic importance of the Malaysian market for the brand.

At the center of the ZXMOTO 500F is a liquid-cooled 470 cc four-cylinder, 16-valve, DOHC engine designed for high-revving thrill and smooth power delivery. The engine features a 59 × 43 mm bore and stroke with a 12:1 compression ratio. It delivers a maximum power output of 54 kW at 11,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 48 N.m at 9,500 rpm. To ensure seamless downshifts and manage rear-wheel chatter during aggressive deceleration, ZXMOTO has paired the powerplant with a wet multi-plate slipper clutch.
Chassis and Fully Adjustable Dynamics
The 500F is engineered around a robust Double Cradle Frame featuring a Steel Trellis Structure, striking an ideal balance between rigidity and agile street handling. Suspension duties are handled via an inverted front fork assembly with adjustable damping, paired with a central rear monoshock setup that offers adjustable preload. This gives riders full adaptability to configure their suspension for spirited weekend canyon carving or daily urban commuting.
Braking confidence is secured by dual 300 mm floating discs clamped at the front and a single 220 mm disc at the rear, fully backed by a dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The motorcycle rides on sticky 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear tires, ensuring a wide contact patch.

Despite its aggressive purist styling, the 500F does not skimp on modern technology. The cockpit features a classic analogue needle tachometer paired with a clear central LCD display. Safety and electronic rider aids include:

The ZXMOTO 500F enters the market with an attractive retail price of RM28,888.00. Customers can choose from three premium paint finishes: Phantom Black, Crimson Red, and Arctic White. To sweeten the deal, Mforce backs the motorcycle with a comprehensive 2-year or 20,000 km warranty, which converts to an unlimited mileage warranty on core engine components if the mileage threshold is met before the 2-year period expires.
