The Track-Inspired ZXMOTO 500RR Supersport Arrives in Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR – Middleweight sportbike enthusiasts have a fierce new contender to consider. Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd. has officially pulled the wraps off the highly anticipated ZXMOTO 500RR supersport motorcycle during the exclusive “Rise of the Champions” launch event. Engineered from the ground up for riders who demand racetrack-derived performance, high-revving dynamics, and precise handling, the 500RR brings true supersport dimensions and a high-spec electronic suite to Malaysian tarmac.

The launch was witnessed by top executives, including Chongqing ZXMOTO Founder Zhang Xue and Malaysia Motorcycle and Scooter Dealers Association (MMSDA) Chairman Datuk Wee Hong, cementing the bike’s arrival as a major milestone for local motorsport consumers.

Screaming Four-Cylinder Performance
Unlike many parallel-twin options in its class, the ZXMOTO 500RR features a high-revving, liquid-cooled 470.2 cc four-cylinder, 16-valve powerplant. Optimized for top-end track performance, the engine generates an impressive maximum power output of 62 kW at a screaming 13,500 rpm and peak torque of 46 N.m at 11,500 rpm. Boasting a 59 × 43 mm bore and stroke alongside an aggressive 12.9:1 compression ratio, this engine feeds its power through a wet multi-plate slipper clutch and a chain final drive system.

Championship-Grade Chassis & Hardware
To handle the high RPM loads, the 500RR utilizes a specialized One-Piece Steel Trellis Frame designed to maximize chassis feedback at full lean. The suspension system is significantly upgraded, featuring premium 41 mm inverted front forks with fully adjustable preload and damping properties. The rear suspension layout relies on a central monoshock, which also provides complete preload and damping adjustments to accommodate fine track tuning.

Stopping power is delivered through massive 320 mm dual floating front discs and a 240 mm single rear disc. A dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is equipped standard to prevent wheel lockups during high-speed braking zones. The bike rolls on lightweight aluminum alloy cast wheels wrapped in 120/70 ZR17 (front) and 180/55 ZR17 (rear) tires.

Advanced Electronic Rider Aids
ZXMOTO has equipped the 500RR with an array of electronics that punch far above its price bracket. Key features include:

  • Full-color TFT digital instrument display
  • Bidirectional Quickshifter for clutchless upshifts and downshifts
  • Cruise Control System (CCS) for highway transits
  • Bluetooth smartphone connectivity
  • Five selective riding modes: Sport, Street, Rain, and two fully Customizable mapping configurations

Dimensions, Aesthetics, and Pricing
Designed with low aerodynamic drag in mind, the 500RR measures 2,005 mm in length, a narrow 705 mm in width, and 1,125 mm in height. Despite its aggressive supersport geometry, it maintains an approachable seat height of 795 mm and saves weight over its naked sibling, tipping the scales at a lightweight curb weight of just 170 kg.

The ZXMOTO 500RR is officially priced at RM29,988.00. It is available in three racing-inspired color combinations: Nitro Red, Onyx Black, and Frost White. Each purchase comes backed by Mforce’s premium 2-year/20,000 km warranty, complete with the extended unlimited-mileage protection framework for internal engine components.
