Eurotech Wheel Evolves into ETG
Rebrands for Massive Malaysian Expansion and 15,000-Unit Production Boost
KUALA LUMPUR, October 2026 – Eurotech Wheel Distribution Sdn. Bhd., the prominent Malaysian importer of KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles, GASGAS, and ZONTES, has officially announced its rebranding to ETG (Eurotech Group). The strategic evolution marks a major milestone for the company as it accelerates into its next phase of market growth, backed by an aggressive manufacturing expansion and a revamped nationwide dealer network.
The shift to ETG reflects a significant broadening of scale. What began as a localized assembly business has matured into an integrated multi-brand ecosystem spanning motorcycle assembly, distribution, dealer network support, and community engagement across Southeast Asia.
Scaling Manufacturing: Targeting 15,000 Units Monthly
At the core of ETG’s expansion plans is a substantial upgrade to its primary manufacturing infrastructure located in Jitra, Kedah. Currently, the integrated facility handles assembly and key operational functions with a monthly production capacity of over 4,000 units.
Following a major factory expansion designed to enhance production-line productivity, ETG projects its monthly capacity will exceed 15,000 units. This dramatic volume increase will allow the group to comfortably satisfy rising domestic demand and future-proof its diverse multi-brand motorcycle portfolio.

Radical Turnaround Targets for After-Sales Support
To sustain this massive influx of vehicles on Malaysian roads, ETG is aggressively strengthening its retail footprint and technical infrastructure. The group is targeting a comprehensive nationwide network comprising 57 service centres and 73 dealers.

To elevate the standard of customer care, ETG is executing several key initiatives:
- Talent Development: Training more than 100 new technical specialists within the next two years to solve complex technical servicing needs.
- ETG Dealer Management System: Implementing a unified digital ecosystem to streamline operations between the group and its partners.
- Rapid Parts Turnaround: Guaranteeing an ambitious 60-minute turnaround for common faulty parts and a 24-hour window for uncommon parts to slash customer downtime.

💬 Industry Insights: A Vision for Total Ownership Support
When discussing the strategy behind this massive infrastructure shift, Mr Goi Seong Keng, Head of Marketing & Customer Experience of ETG, emphasized that scaling up sales requires an equal commitment to support:
“Growth is not only about putting more motorcycles on the road. The support around every motorcycle has to grow with it. That means stronger dealer support, deeper technical expertise, better access to service, and a closer relationship with riders throughout ownership.
Expanding the Footprint: Experience Showrooms Ahead
Malaysian riders can also look forward to a fresh retail experience. ETG will soon begin rolling out dedicated Experience Showrooms across Malaysia. Phase one of the rollout will establish physical footprints across the northern, central, and southern regions before expanding nationwide.
The expansion builds on a solid foundation. Eurotech first established the region’s first KTM CKD assembly plant in 2012, eventually adding Zontes (2019), Husqvarna (2021), and GASGAS (2022) to its portfolio. With an expanded manufacturing base, an optimized supply chain, and dedicated lifestyle initiatives like the KTM Asian Riders’ Academy, ETG is firmly positioned to dominate Malaysia’s multi-brand motorcycle landscape.
