Over 700 Riders Join PETRONAS Sprinta Convoy to MotoGP Sepang 2026
Sepang, 2 November – The PETRONAS Sprinta Convoy to MotoGP Sepang 2026 returned for its fourth consecutive year with its highest turnout yet, as more than 700 motorcyclists from various communities, brands and engine capacities took part.
This year’s convoy brought together a wide range of machines, from small and mid-capacity motorcycles to high-powered models from brands such as Harley-Davidson, Ducati, BMW, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki. This diversity made the convoy a unique gathering that united the motorcycling community on a single ride to Malaysia’s biggest motorsport event.
An Orderly Ride with Police Escort
The convoy started from PETRONAS Cyberjaya before riding together to Sepang International Circuit, escorted by police from the Sepang District Police Headquarters. The escort helped ensure the convoy moved in an orderly and smooth manner.
Participants also shared their excitement over the smooth journey, which offered an enjoyable riding experience while prioritising road safety and discipline.
Stopover at the PETRONAS Pavilion
Upon arriving at Sepang Circuit, all participants stopped at the PETRONAS Pavilion to enjoy the atmosphere and activities prepared for them, before continuing to their main agenda of watching the race action from the Main Grandstand.
Strengthening Ties with the Motorcycling Community
Now in its fourth year, the PETRONAS Sprinta Convoy has not only established itself as an event eagerly anticipated by the motorcycling community, but also serves as a platform to strengthen the relationship between PETRONAS Sprinta and riders from all segments. The participation of more than 700 riders also reflects the camaraderie of the two-wheeler community, which transcends differences in brand, model and engine capacity.
Encouraged by the strong response, PETRONAS Sprinta hopes that programmes like this will continue to bring the brand closer to Malaysia’s motorcycling community, while fostering a culture of safe, disciplined and brotherly riding.
